Adult Ballet

Offered to men and women at varying levels and ages. This class is for anyone who simply has in interest in learning the fundamentals of this beautiful art form to those who are more experienced and looking to return to ballet. The instructors make it their goal to make the experience in these classes fun and enjoyable in a way that will put both inexperienced and experienced individuals at ease while they develop their skills. Core & Floor

A unique ballet-inspired class that is a hybrid of Pilates, core strengthening, stretching and floor barre -- ballet movements performed on a mat rather than standing at the barre. Class fuses barre exercises with Pilates and resistance work to provide an effective and fun body sculpting workout. Each class is taught by a instructor with extensive experience and training in dance, Pilates, and fitness. No dance or Pilates experience is required!

Visit our studio on the 6th floor of the Tri-Main Building, 2495 Main St., Ste 600, Buffalo, NY 14214

OR Email us info@negliaballet.org and we’ll get you registered.

Q: Do I need previous dance experience?

Classes designed to accommodate all levels, from absolute beginners through experienced dancers and students. Our small class sizes allow the instructor to meet you where you are in your journey to provide you with a challenging yet rewarding class experience. However, if you are brand new to ballet, we recommend starting in the Fall, as the year continues the class progresses.

Watch and practice this “Ballet Basics Video” to get familiar with terms and positions.

Q: What should  I wear to class?

We recommend fitted exercise or dance attire; Some students wear leotards and tights to ballet; others choose tank tops and yoga pants. Wear what makes you feel comfortable! Ballet slippers are strongly  recommended for ballet and available for sale at the studio.

Q: Is there nearby parking available?

Yes. There are 3 visitor parking lots, as well as street parking.

Q: Do I need to commit to a full year, month or semester of class?

No. You will see and feel the best results from regular weekly attendance but all of our adult classes are offered on a drop-in basis meaning that no commitment is required! We offer various consecutive class and trimester packages for adults.

Q: How do I pay for class?

We accept EXACT cash, checks payable to “Neglia Ballet” or we can email you a PayPal invoice. Email info@negliaballet.org if you’d like to purchase a consecutive class card. Unsure if you can commit to consecutive classes? Some students opt to pre-pay for a series of classes at $15 per class and simply cross them off as they go - no expiration and no remembering to bring exact cash to class!
