Alumni News: Erin Collins
While many Neglia Ballet alumni pursue careers in dance, many others use the lessons of poise, confidence and diligence cultivated in the ballet studio to pursue excellence in other fields. Neglia Conservatory alumna Erin Collins is one such exceptional former student.
A 2009 graduate of Nichols School and 2013 graduate of Georgetown University, Erin recently spent a year in Malawi working for the United Nations’ World Food Programme through the “Princeton in Africa” fellowship. In addition to her year in sub-Saharan Africa, Erin has worked with One Heart Source in Hout Bay, South Africa as a volunteer running educational programs and for advocacy firms and nonprofits in Washington D.C. Her experiences in Malawi were highlighted in the Winter 2016 Nichols school alumni magazine. Click here to read her blog documenting her year with the UNWFP.
