Another Year, Another Enchanting Nutcracker
” Neglia Ballet Artists’ “The Nutcracker” ballet . . . once again reinforced that love affair with a magical production that excited the senses and warmed the hearts of audience members of all ages.” –Steve Sucato, The Buffalo News
The reviews are in and this season’s production of The Nutcracker was a smashing success! In our seventh year of collaborating with the BPO and Shea’s to bring Tchaikovsky’s famous score to life, Neglia’s ‘Nutcracker’ was called a must-see “Buffalo holiday tradition” by The Buffalo News.
The production was featured as a “can’t-miss” holiday event–and we agree! This year’s performance reached new heights with the talents of Luciana Paris and Jose Sebastian in the leading roles of Grown-Up Marie and her Cavalier. Their performances “put an exclamation point on Neglia Ballet Artists’ heartfelt and memorable The Nutcracker production,” according to dance critic Steve Sucato. The show also featured Sergio Neglia, reprising his role as the titular Nutcracker, and Neglia Conservatory student Yuha Tomita, who Buffalo audiences may remember from her appearance as Misha in Baba Yaga earlier this year.
