Art, Dance, and Monkeys, Oh My!

The first two weeks of August, Neglia’s studios come alive with the sounds of kids creating, laughing, dancing and exploring books together. Last week at Storytime Explorers, the boys and girls ranging in ages from 4 to 8 put together a cute mini-performance of the classic story Caps for Sale.

It’s fun for us to see a group of kids of all ages and backgrounds work together to retell a story. They created many of their own sets, put together their own costumes, and worked hard to learn their blocking and choreography over the course of just a few mornings! By the end of the week even the shy and reserved kids were laughing, performing and having a blast.

This week we have some returning students along with quite a few brand new faces ready to learn, dance and make art. We can’t wait to see their in-studio performance of Rainbow Fish on Friday!
