Baba Yaga and Nutcracker Auditions are This Weekend!
It’s time again for young dancers and actors ages 8 and older to audition for Neglia Ballet’s productions of Baba Yaga and The Nutcracker! Read on for your need-to-know audition information.
Audition Dates and Times
September 11th: 4:00 – 5:30 pm – Boys ages 8 – 13
September 11th: 5:30 – 6:30 pm – Boys and girls ages 14 and Older
September 12th: 12:00 – 2:00 pm – Girls ages 8 – 10
September 12th: 2:30 – 5:00 pm – Girls ages 10 – 13
Over 75 children ages 8 and up will be selected to fill many children’s roles, including Woodland Creatures, Mushrooms, Butterflies, Goblins, Skeletons, Crows and Birds in Baba Yaga and Party Children, Cupcakes, Bakers, Mice, Rats, Soldiers, and Angels in The Nutcracker. Auditions are in groups. Audition times are scheduled by dancer age and experience as noted below. The selective audition process takes approximately one and one half hours for each age group. Please plan on staying during the entire time of your group’s audition.
