The Nutcracker will be performed at Shea’s on December 7 and 8, 2024

You will be emailed the results of the audition within a week of the audition. If your child is chosen for a role, you will be asked to look carefully at the rehearsal schedule and sign a contract stating your child’s commitment to the rehearsal times and performances.

Rehearsals begin in early October. Generally, rehearsals take place on weekends and evenings. As the performance dates get closer, the rehearsals will get more frequent. You must be committed to being at ALL rehearsals your role(s) are scheduled for including rehearsals during the school day at Shea’s on Thursday Dec 5 and Friday Dec 6, 2024.

Additional time slots will be scheduled during the rehearsal period for costume fittings. Fittings usually happen before or after a scheduled rehearsal.

Several of the Nutcracker roles have multiple casts so your child may perform in only 1 performance. Regardless of split cast, ALL cast members are required to attend ALL dress rehearsals / performances even if that cast member is not performing or rehearsing that day. Wait to buy your tickets until you are certain in which performance your child is performing. We will let you know as soon as possible, but the process is fairly complicated. Please do NOT contact the studio regarding this matter – we will inform you when all roles are finalized.
