Spotlight: Board Chair Patrick J. Hines
PJ Hines has served on Neglia Ballet’s Board of Directors for many seasons and was recently appointed to Board Chair.
“I never had the discipline (or flexibility) to be a dancer, and certainly never looked good in tights. But the performing arts have always been a part of my life. I am proud to be a part of Neglia’s inestimably valuable contribution to Buffalo’s vibrant cultural community. It is a privilege to be able to help bring the joy of performing, and the personal growth that comes with it, to Buffalo’s youth through Neglia’s outreach programs.”
PJ Hines is a Senior Associate at Hodgson Russ LLP, where he focuses his practice on business litigation. He grew up in Penfield, New York, and first came to Buffalo as an undergraduate at the University at Buffalo, where he studied political science. Except for a semester in Washington, D.C. working with the municipal attorney general, and a few years in law school at the University of Notre Dame, he has called Buffalo home ever since. In law school, PJ served as a Notes and Submissions Editor with the Notre Dame Law Review, and as president of the Notre Dame Law School chapter of the American Constitution Society. He has been named a Western New York Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2015 through 2019. In addition to his work with Neglia, PJ is part of a group that is developing a non-profit food donation app.
PJ lives in North Buffalo with his girlfriend and two dogs. His interests include live music, adventure travel, and poorly sung but brilliantly performed karaoke.
