BOYS DANCE TOO

The love of ballet is for everyone!

Program Overview

Exposure to both sports and the arts help boys become more well-rounded young men. Have you considered ballet? Boys ages 8-13 are invited to give it a shot at Neglia Ballet’s FREE summer workshop “BOYS DANCE TOO!”

Over the course of classes lead by ballet masters, boys will learn the fundamentals of ballet, develop their physical strength, and gain a deeper appreciation for this powerful art form – all while having fun and forging new friendships!

WHY BALLET FOR BOYS?

Take a look at some of the ways ballet has been shown to aid in boys’ development:

  • Improves physical strength, agility and flexibility
  • Improves concentration, memory and cognitive ability
  • Boosts self-confidence

SUCCESS STORIES

Student

RAFAEL

Since taking the first summer workshop, Rafael has jumped – or should I say leaped – into ballet! He joined the cast of Neglia’s Nutcracker as a mouse this December, and had a fabulous first experience onstage at Shea’s! And he is now dancing 4 1/2 hours a week. Rafael loves ballet, and he loves his teachers. Who knows where it will take him in the future?
